Three bedroom holiday cottage overlooking Mount’s Bay and St. Michael’s Mount in Cornwall. A rental home with sea views is always welcome and uplifting – an added bonus during a holiday.
In addition to its fabulous location, the stone-built cottage has three bedrooms to comfortably sleep six people. Two of the bedrooms are inside the main building and another is in a separate annexe beside it. This configuration may suit people who have teenagers or elderly parents who may wish the extra privacy of the annexe. It is a spacious room which has two single beds that can be zip-linked on request to create a super-king bed. There is also a shower room with wash basin and WC.
The cottage stands on the outskirts of the village of Perranuthnoe on the south Cornish coast. It has a distinctly seaside feel inside, is bright and airy with excellent views over the coastline. The accommodation has been arranged with the living areas on the top floor to make the most of the lovely views. A big open plan area is set out into a sitting room with sofas, easy chairs, wood burner and television. A comfortable place to sit and relax with drinks, talk, watch television or catch up with social media because this holiday home has WiFi. You will certainly have some beautiful photographs of the scenery to share with friends.
The other half of the living area is dedicated to cooking and dining. A smart modern kitchen is supplied with all the main items that holidaymakers need when self-catering including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher and all the crockery and cutlery to have a satisfying experience away from home. Families may appreciate the washing machine and tumble dryer when there is wet swimwear and beach towels to be washed.
The living area has a vaulted ceiling which is supported by large wooden trusses that add to the character.
Stairs lead down to the two other bedrooms, one king-size with an en-suite bathroom and a twin bedroom, with an en-suite shower room.
There are various steps to climb within this property so it is not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.
Families are most welcome and a cot and highchair is available.
The property is heated using geothermal energy and has its own natural water supply.
The cottage is encompassed by pretty gardens planted with exotic flowers and shrubs. A garden table and chairs are placed on the sun trap patio. It is a pleasant garden where children can play safely outdoors.
Parking for two vehicles is possible outside the property.
This is a desirable Cornish holiday home in a gorgeous setting. There are so many good places to visit all around. The Perranuthnoe beach is natural and undeveloped. Parts are sandy with rocks and rock pools. There is a coastal path to walk that leads to a pub and shop. The village of Marazion with its whitewashed streets of houses, fish and chip shop and other eateries is about 2miles away.
The best of Cornwall is within reach if you have your own transport. Visit St. Michael’s Mount, fantastic Cornish beaches at Marazion, Praa Sands and more. The Cornish coastline will provide hours of enjoyable exploration. It is a wonderful holiday destination in southwest England.
