Pentewan is an interesting coastal village situated on the south coast of Cornwall, not far from the picturesque village of Mevagissey. It was once a busy harbour used for shipping china clay, the dock basin is now separated from the sea by the beach and is filled with fresh water. There are great features evidencing its industrial past dotted around the village even though a ship hasn’t docked in the harbour for over 60 years.

Pentewan also boasts an inland delight with a 4 kilometre Pentewan Valley trail which leads through woodland and alongside a river.
