West Bromwich is a beautiful town within the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, in the West Midlands, England. A part of the Black Country, West Bromwich is 5 miles (8 km) North West of Birmingham lying on the A41 London-to-Birkenhead road.

West Bromwich is largely known for its football club, West Bromwich Albion. Founded in 1878, the club became one of the twelve founder members of the Football League in 1888 It won the league championship in 1920 and has won the FA Cup five times, most recently in 1968.

The town houses various attractive tourist spots that are visited by thousands throughout the year. One of such places is Oak House, which has been open to the public since 1898. Built around 1590, Oak House has some of the fine examples of Tudor and Jacobean furniture, as well as intricate 17th Century wall panelling. The house also plays the host to numerous seasonal events and school holiday activities.

Another known tourist attraction is Wednesbury Museum which is famous for its Victorian art gallery. The museum displays toy collection, the world’s largest collection of Ruskin property and the local history gallery.
