Looking for a one-bedroom holiday home in South Wales just for two people?

It is very nice to be able to get away for impromptu holidays and mid-week breaks. Retired couples often have the luxury of being able to check the weather forecast and book a cottage for two in South Wales when good weather is on the horizon.
The country cottages, lodges and barn conversions shown here all sleep two people. Most will have just the one bedroom. Beds could be of various sizes, so best check the descriptions. Sometimes it is possible to request a superking or twin beds.

A place to sit and enjoy the sunshine in South Wales

The good thing about renting a holiday home is that it is private and you have your very own living room, kitchen and bathroom. Find accommodation that has a garden and you may have a sunny patio to sit out on and enjoy the birdsong in rural South Wales. If you stay anywhere close to the coast, be aware that the seagulls are massive and always looking for an easy meal so be careful when eating in the garden or you could find your morning croissants disappearing into the air.
