Take the children, in-laws and dogs to Wales – there is plenty to amuse everyone. Having a holiday home with a garden to call your own bodes well for a memorable trip; barbecues on the patio on hot sunny days, lazing on a beach whilst the children play, grandparents snoozing on a deck chair.
Staying in a self-catering seaside cottage is such good value and so convenient. There is no concern about the number of drinks and ice lollies the children get through because you can have your own supply in the freezer. Grandparents can bring their favourite tipples to sip when they wish so it could be gin and tonic at 6pm or Prosecco at midnight.
Book a seaside holiday home that has a hot tub in the garden and the whole family can chat and relax together. A secure garden is good for family dogs. They will be happy enough to sleep in a shady corner and watch the family antics.
One thing to watch out for when booking a coastal cottage, especially if it is really close to the beach is parking. Try to find one that has its own driveway or private parking and it will prevent the annoyance of not being able to find a parking space close to your accommodation. One thing about seaside holidays is that many holidaymakers go laden with buckets, spades, portable chairs, cool boxes and various other items deemed necessary. You do not want to have to carry that far to your cottage on a daily basis.
