Holiday home accommodation in the UK is varied and depending on the kind of break you are looking for, there is always a cottage to suit your needs. If you are after a romantic trip with your partner, then you can stay in a secluded and private cottage, nestled in a forest or perched by the sea. There are also accommodations that feature hot tubs for a bit of luxury, and homes that welcome dogs and are baby friendly. If you want something extra to make your break even more memorable, then you can choose to rent a cottage in Loddon with a king size bed or a Jacuzzi bath.
Loddon in the south east of Norfolk is a lovely little market town in which to choose as a base to explore other parts of the county. When you rent accommodation here, you will come to feel like a local as you retreat back to your sanctuary after a day of exploring the sights. Set on the picturesque River Chet, Loddon is popular for boating tourism in this part of the southern Broads area, and further down the river is Hardley Flood, an excellent spot for bird watching.
The town itself is home to a couple of quaint tearooms, an award-winning restaurant, and a few cosy pubs to relax in. Loddon also features the parish church of Holy Trinity, dating back to the 15th century, and an 18th century watermill, plus numerous other historical structures dotted around the town centre. If you are interested in architecture, then you will find it a very pleasant settlement in which to rent self-catering accommodation.
Loddon is also close to the border with Suffolk where there are numerous historic villages to explore. Tourists will find a wealth of antiques and tea shops; sometimes both combined.
For day trips from Loddon, you might choose to visit the heart of The Broads National Park, a haven for lovers of the great outdoors and just a few miles from the market town. The east coast is also not too far away, and you and your loved ones can easily take a day trip to the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth which is about thirty minutes away by car, or the quieter Caister-on-Sea, a further ten minutes north along the coast. The city of Norwich is the same distance away but in the other direction, and also makes for a nice day trip from Loddon.
Self-catering cottages are a great way to experience a new place in a homely environment. Loddon has an abundance of amenities and is perfect for a peaceful holiday with friends and family where you will still have lots to do. With these holiday homes, you can cook your own meals to enjoy in private or with a good movie and relax in a comfortable bed after discovering what the area has to offer.
