A byre in a previous life, this pet-friendly romantic rural retreat offers a discerning couple the chance to enjoy a tranquil break on a farm in lovely Wiltshire. All accommodation is on the ground floor. Attractive outside and within, certain rustic features remain such as the barn-type front door. The property has electric central heating and a log burner in the sitting room. Large picture windows open out onto the patio where there is a picnic table, benches and barbecue. Sizzle up a feast and enjoy eating outside in the sunshine whilst you take in the beautiful views.

The sitting room inside has comfortable seating, a TV and desk with a chair where you could set up a laptop. There is WiFi broadband. A door from the sitting room leads into the bedroom which has a double bed and an additional single bed which may suit a child.

The shower room has a semi-enclosed shower cabinet, WC and washbasin.

A compact kitchen contains essential appliances of an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and there is also a washing machine. On fine days, take meals out to the picnic table to eat.

Wiltshire is a surprisingly beautiful and interesting county to visit on holiday. You may wish to explore the farm, see the animals and surroundings, then venture into the countryside. There are numerous places of interest to visit nearby such as the National Trust Sutton Lane Meadows Nature Reserve, an Alpaca Farm and walks along the banks of the River Avon.

For days out, visit the Cotswold town of Chippenham, or go north to Westonbirt Arboretum. The city of Bath lies to the west and is roughly half an hour’s drive away.
