A wonderful three-story holiday cottage set in the coastal village of Embleton, with stunning sea views of the local bay. A perfect property for socialising with friends or a number of families, the attractive location makes an ideal base for holiday-makers looking to explore the North-East coastline.
With luxurious touches everywhere you look, the property has a beautifully presented interior set over three floors. The bedrooms have been expertly designed to maximise the views of the countryside and beach. The first floor has the largest bedrooms; a double room with clean en-suite and spacious twin room. On the second floor, four more bedrooms can be found with warming carpets and softly cushioned beds. The masterpiece of the cottage is the bright living room, with its spectacular bay window. Add the stylish oak flooring, underfloor heating and antique Herringbone fireplace makes it a gorgeous room to socialise in throughout the day. The large custom-built kitchen with its top of the range granite worktops and adjacent dining room makes for a chef's and diner's delight. A further sitting room is found on the first floor, with a TV and comfortable sofas. A small doorway leads to an 18th century watchtower, where one can marvel at the fantastic sea views and the ancient Bamburgh Castle.
A lovely patio and small grassy area lines the house, surrounded by lavender bushes, and holds a fire pit in the far corner.
Embleton itself is a quaint little village with several country pubs to choose from. One may want to take the well-trodden footpath to bordering Craster, passed the ruined Dunstanburgh Castle. Less than 7 miles drive is Alnwick, where its castle and grounds are a popular destination. The unspoilt Cheviots, the beaches between the Scottish Borders and Northumbria, are all within a day's reach and are great for exploring.
Short Breaks: Yes, minimum 3 nights
