Superb 5 bedroom rural holiday rental in Northumberland, just 6.6 miles from Rothbury.

Outstanding property, accommodating up to 10 people, in a stunning location in the village of Ewesley. Perfect for chilling out or for forays into the amazing Northumberland National Park.

Spend the morning strolling in peaceful open countryside, around your holiday home, with your pet, before heading back to prepare a late lunch feast, from locally sourced organic produce. The chic kitchen of the open living space, has an electric range cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer and dishwasher and spacious enough for many hands to help. Serve to the stylish dining table set for ten. Finish your wine seated on the smart patio suite. In late afternoon, decamp with binoculars, to the Northumberland National Park, a designated dark skies site, for a few hours of star glazing.

Return home to sleep peacefully in the five super-comfy, smart bedrooms:

• Ground floor:

o 2 double bedrooms with en-suite walk-in shower, Cloakroom.

• First-floor:

o 1 king-size bedroom with TV and en-suite bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, basin and WC,

o 1 double bedroom,

After a quick breakfast, set out to Alnwick Castle of Harry Potter Hogwarts School fame. Follow with a spot of lunch at one of the villages as you enjoy sightseeing in the countryside and birdwatch. Maybe even take a boat trip to Coquet Island or The Farne Islands.

Back at your home-from-home, you will sink happily into the plush sofas for an evening of TV, warmed by underfloor heating and the glow of the woodburning stove.
