In a pleasant setting just outside of the village of Preston on Wye in Herefordshire, this lovely country cottage has 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6. This is a splendid holiday cottage which dates back to the 18th century and could be a perfect base for a peaceful break in the Herefordshire countryside, close to the river Wye. Lovingly restored the building has bags of character and charm with exposed beams and character features. This holiday home provides cosy, warm and comfortable accommodation for a family of six. Much of its character is evident in the sitting room with its beamed walls and ceiling and huge stone fire recess. This room also has a wood burner and a sofa bed. The rustic dining room provides more proof of times past and the fitted galley kitchen has a stable door leading into the grounds. A family bathroom is on the ground floor and has a bath with shower over, WC and basin. Upstairs are a king sized double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The cottage stands in its own fully enclosed lawned garden and is only a short walk from a charming village pub.
