Enter into the spacious lounge, complete with an electric fire and sumptuous arrangement of seating, giving you chance to unwind after a day of walking. Carry the conversion into the kitchen where the chef of the group can get to grips with all the appliances, the main one being the AGA range cooker, while in the adjacent room is a large dining table where family mealtimes can be enjoyed. Move upstairs to discover the bedrooms, including the master with super-king-size bed and en-suite shower, boasting a real sense of character with a curved ceiling beam that spans across the length of the room. There is also a king-size with en-suite bathroom, a triple with three singles and a double with en-suite shower, each well-furnished and providing sumptuous places of rest. The wonder of the property continues outside, with a hot tub sitting on the lawned area, you can sit here and truly soak in your countryside settings, with the farmer’s fields creating a calming essence to your tranquil retreat. Those looking to brush up on local history can visit the ruins of Norman Mott and Bailey Castle in Montgomery, the Grade I gardens at Cregynog Hall and also the spectacle of Powis Castle and gardens, where you might even spot Prince Charles. If you fancy a day by the coast, head to the market town of Aberystwyth, where you can stroll along the promenade whilst tucking into a portion of fish and chips, before reaching the Constitution Hall, offering the best views of the town.
