Monnow Valley Studio is a fantastic holiday home for large groups of family and friends which occupies a picturesque setting by the banks of the River Monnow in rural Monmouthshire.

The property was acquired by nearby Rockfield Studios in 1975 and was initially used as a writing and rehearsal facility for bands recording at the Studios, before becoming a recording studio in it's own right during the 1980s. Now used only occasionally as a rehearsal space, the property has been extensively refurbished and upgraded to provide residential accommodation for up to 24 people in the 11 bedrooms previously used by the likes of Sir Tom Jones, Oasis, Kaiser Chiefs, Stereophonics, Manic Street Preachers, Simple Minds and many many more famous musicians - a truly unique holiday experience! As well as the 11 stylishly appointed bedrooms (two of which are on the ground floor), there are 10 bathrooms (6 en suite), a large modern kitchen, two lounges, a games room, and a glass walled dining room accessed via the studio's famous cartwheel doors featured on the cover of Oasis' debut single 'Supersonic'. You even have your own soundproofed party room equipped with disco lighting and a built in speaker system ready for you to plug in your own music and party like the rock stars who have stayed there before you.

Outside is a large patio area with sofas, tables and a hot tub. The house is bordered on one side by the River Monnow and is surrounded on the other three by mature gardens and trees offering complete privacy. There is ample parking for up to 16 cars. The owners live nearby so are on site for any queries during your stay. They will accept well behaved stag and hen parties parties, and studio owner Jo, who has worked in the music industry for 30 years, can regale your party with stories of the times she worked with Richard Branson, Simon Cowell, toured with Nirvana, house shared with Peter Andre, and lived with artists at the studio for two decades.

Monnow Valley Studio is just 2.5 mile from the lovely market town of Monmouth, with it's array of independent retailers, pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. Abergavenny and Hereford are also within a half hour drive, as is the Forest of Dean, a great location for walkers and outdoor pursuits enthusiasts.
