Book a cottage break for two, staying in a 5 star former fisherman's house on the Conwy quayside overlooking the harbour and boats.
A terraced house, overlooking the harbour, opens up to reveal a stylish holiday home on the inside, with herringbone pattern parquet flooring and contemporary décor. Seating in the sitting room is arranged around the wall mounted log fire and widescreen TV. A white fitted kitchen runs across one wall. This has an electric oven, a ceramic hob, dishwasher and essential appliances. A table for two is tucked into the alcove under the stairs – a place for a couple to dine and breakfast.
The stairs lead up to a bright coastal themed bedroom with crisp white bedlinen on the super king-size bed. The shower room leading off the bedroom has welcome under floor heating for cosy toes. A small courtyard with a barbecue and outdoor furniture is a nice feature for sunny days. Parking for a vehicle. One dog is welcome by arrangement. There is WiFi at the cottage.
This harbourside cottage would be superb for any couples planning to explore north Wales. The medieval town of Conwy offers a few sights of its own and an array of shops and pubs. Enjoy forays into Snowdonia and the Welsh countryside, take advantage of warm days for walks on the beaches. Wales is lovely to visit during spring when the fields are full of bouncing lambs and the gorse is in flower. Foodies may like to visit during the last week of October to indulge at the annual Gwledd Conwy Feast which combines food, drink and music with numerous happenings on the quay.
