Large group accommodation with disco room on edge of Snowdonia

Enjoy the best of seaside and mountains with a big group of up to 59 people. Bunk bed dormitories form part of the sleeping accommodation and it is spread over four floors so it might suit youth groups or walking groups or those who are a touch fitter than most. The accommodation is colourful and basic – do not expect any frills.

This huge property was converted into holiday accommodation a few years ago and equipped for large scale self-catered holidays.

The room arrangements are as follows:

Lower ground floor: the living, dining and kitchen areas. The dining table seats 36 people, the kitchen table seats 9 and the sitting room seats 16. There is space for 12 guests in the leisure/media room and another 8 in the games room. This is not a house where a group at the maximum occupancy of 59 can dine together. It would require two sittings for dinner. There is room for people to spread out through the house. The leisure rooms with their bright yellow floors definitely have young appeal.

The kitchen is equipped for holidaymakers to cook for themselves on a grand scale and has three fridge/freezers, two double ovens, two dishwashers and a large amount of everything else. Clubs and youth groups would be able to manage self-catering on this scale with rotas and responsibilities. There is always the option of buying in outside catering.

There is also a bedroom on this lower ground floor: family sized bedroom containing a king-size bed and one set of adult-sized bunk beds.

Ground floor: dormitory bedroom with seven adult sized bunk beds to sleep fourteen people. Bathroom and a shower room. Superking-size bed that could convert to two single beds, en-suite shower, wash hand basin and toilet. One single bedroom with a pull-out bed.

First floor: dormitory bedroom that contains eight single beds with a pull out bed. These sleep 18 in total. Shower room with a washbasin and toilet. A superking 4 modern poster bedroom with en-suite shower room. Three superking bedrooms with super-king/ zip-link beds – all with en-suite shower rooms. One super-king bedroom, no shower room. Single bedroom with its own en-suite shower facilities.

Second floor: Superking bedroom with a flexible arrangement of beds that can be zipped or unzipped to form a superking bed or twin beds. En-suite shower room. Small bedroom for a baby in a cot. Double bedroom.

The property can sleep up to fifty nine people in a total of sixteen bedrooms. There are twelve shower/bath rooms altogether distributed throughout the house.

The advantage of such a large property, just ten minutes from the coast is its size and location. Snowdonia is on the doorstep, the lovely Isle of Anglesey just a short drive away and the Conwy coast with its castle and fabulous places to visit.

This is an excellent property for the right group. There is some private parking for up to six vehicles and plenty of free parking on the roads outside. It is important to ensure a tidy stay, especially in the dormitories because there is a minimal amount of hanging space available.

This holiday home is baby-friendly and cots and highchairs may be requested for your arrival.
