Grantown-on-Spey is a small town of the Highland council Area in Scotland. The town was found in the year of 1765 as a planned settlement. It is situated on a low plateau at Freuchie along side River Spey at the northern edge of the Cairngorm Mountains, at a distance of 20 miles on the south east of Inverness. Despite being a small town, the town offers a wide array of places, which include beautiful landscapes, churches, ancient buildings, museums, galleries, local market places and many more.
