Stonebroom is a hamlet in beautiful Derbyshire, on the eastern side of the Peak District. People like to walk the Dales, visit small villages, eat and drink in tea shops and pubs. They come to have a good time, so it is not hard to see why it is a popular holiday destination. Renting a holiday home just outside the national park tends to be a little less expensive than within it and it is not far to get to most tourist spots.

There are plenty of independent holiday homes In Stonebroom, from lodges and cottages to barns, sleeping anywhere from two to sixteen people, and even the occasional bigger property too. This makes Stonebroom perfect whether it is a cosy, romantic retreat that you are after, or if you need to host a big meet up. If you prefer pets over people, there are plenty of holiday homes which will allow you to take your dog (or dogs) away with you, often with features to make holidaying with your pets easy, such as stair gates and utility rooms. Free internet access can be found in nearly all of the Stonebroom holiday homes meaning that you only have to be disconnected from the world if you want to be and saving you from teenagers moaning that they are bored too! Often the holiday homes can bring a bit of luxury to your holiday, whether this be a king size bed, private garden or beautiful interior or even as far as having your hot tub or sauna to relax in at the end of the day.

Despite its rural location, there is plenty to do in and around the village of Stonebroom. Whether you prefer to take strolls through the countryside, or need something a little more exciting to keep the younger members of your family entertained, there are plenty of attractions no matter what your interests. These include attractions such as the Matlock Bath Treasure Trail, historical abbeys and halls, the East Midlands Designer Outlet and much more, meaning that no matter what your interests, you are sure to find plenty to do in Stonebroom.

For self-catering cottages surrounded by beautiful scenery, Stonebroom really does give you it all.
