This large converted chapel in the conservation area of the market town of Belper offers comfortable accommodation for the larger family group and is suitable for celebrations, reunions and a base to carry out out door activities.
Belper has a town council which arranges many varied activities throughout the year eg food festivals, farmers markets, beer festivals, open gardens and an art festival.
This stone built holiday home is in the heart of the Belper conservation area, near the mill workers cottages known as the Clusters. The chapel a grade 2 listed building dates from 1817 and is on the door step of the Derbyshire Peak district national Park.
The town offers several supermarkets, a variety of shops, a wealth of pubs and an excellent range of restaurants.
The chapel can accommodate with ease the really large group. There is a huge 40 ft galleried and beamed lounge, a number of bathrooms and an extra ground floor sitting room, the fully fitted kitchen includes a range oven and there is a sauna suite.
The secluded private and enclosed garden has a brick bar be que and picnic table and chairs for Summer use, and there is private parking for up to 4 vehicles just to the rear of the chapel, which is reached via Bridge St and Clusters Rd with a short stroll back to the chapel via Crown Terrace. There are also two additional parking places at the Cedars where the keys are collected from and other near by short stay and long stay car parks.
