A fantastic cosy barn conversion, built with local traditional brick, set on small working farm on the edge of a quiet Shropshire village. Ideal for a small family or couple looking to escape to the countryside, the cottage has a homely-feel, designed meticulously to make guests feel welcome and comfortable.
The lounge provides a light and airy space in the summer sun, whilst on cool, winter nights guests can snuggle on one of the comfortable sofas next to the warm woodburner. The kitchen has a contemporary and quirky feel, with patterned tiles lining the walls. A small dining table is placed before the French doors, which lead out onto the rear private patio area. There is a double bedroom with a large window and a smaller twin room.

The rear patio contains a garden table and chairs under an umbrella canvas so guests can enjoy alfresco meals in the late evening and a chiminea is provided to keep warm. Off-road parking is available for up to 2 cars.

The tranquil settlement of Acton Burnell is where the cottage resides, named after the infamous Robert Burnell who built the castle and church there in the 13th century. There are plenty of marked footpaths to explore from the front door. Shrewsbury, a well-known Tudor town, is under 10 minutes' drive away. Guests may want to visit the National Trust's Estate at Attingham Park and Wroxeter's Roman City.
