2 bedroom sleeps 4 pet-friendly holiday lodge in the South Lakeland Leisure Village, near Warton.
A super, one level, home-from-home for a family/group of 4 wanting to explore the Lake District National Park, Yorkshire Dales and beyond. When you’re not out sightseeing, chill out on the patio, or take advantage of the Leisure Village's amenities which include a fishing lake, pool, gym, picnic area, restaurant/bar.
The open plan kitchen, dining and living space has been decorated in neutral tones, creating a light and bright holiday atmosphere that you will welcome returning to after each of your adventures.
Enjoy a family bonding “film night” on the cosy sofas, then turn in for the night, to one of the two super comfy bedrooms.
There is one double bedroom with TV and en-suite bathroom (with bath plus shower over, basin and WC), and a twin bedroom with TV. There is also a shower room, for the whole family/group, with walk in shower perfect for freshening up after a day's activity.
For evenings when you fancy a little more company head for one of the two friendly pubs in Warton, less than 2 miles away. Warton also has a post office and a village store where you can stock up on provisions.
Warton Crag is the place for hiking, climbing and for the brave and adventurous, abseiling. Other interesting day trip ideas include the RSPB Nature Reserves at Leighton Moss and Morecambe Bay, stunning Windermere, loved by migrating birds. Go to Carnforth for its railway past, Heritage Trail and for a spot of retail therapy in independent shops.
One well behaved pet. Sorry, no smoking. Lots of off-road parking available. Decking not completely fenced and be careful of steps up. Good Housekeeping bond of £150 applies.
