About this dogs welcome cottage for up to 5 guests in Devon
The exposed beams and stonework were retained when this former milking parlour was converted into the extremely comfortable and well equipped SINGLE STOREY self catering holiday cottage that Weathervane Cottage is today. A wood burning stove adds extra cosiness to the large open plan living space with views and access to the meadow beyond. Being single storey (small step between sleeping and living area) it is ideal for a family of all ages. The master bedroom has an ensuite vanity unit (toilet and basin), and there is a family shower room with large shower, toilet and basin (please note that there isn't a bath). It has an enclosed patio with garden furniture.
The cottage is tucked away in the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that has been practically untouched by time and discovered by few. We are less than 5 minutes drive to the A30/A303, one of the main routes into the West Country, and are ideally located to explore Devon, Dorset and Somerset and have the Jurassic Coast on our doorstep. We are open all year including Christmas, New Year and Easter. Up to 2 dogs by arrangement. Wi Fi.
We have 2 other cottages (sleeping 2 and 4), and an open plan apartment for one couple. Full details can be found on our website.
