Meadow Cottage takes its name from the meadow that it overlooks and accesses. In a former life it was a dairy and the exposed beams and stonework were retained when it was converted to a very well equipped and comfortable self catering holiday cottage, with the added bonus of a wood burning stove. As the master bedroom has ensuite facilities (shower, toilet and basin) it is an ideal cottage for a family or two couples.
The cottage is tucked away in the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that has been practically untouched by time and discovered by few. We are less than 5 minutes drive to the A30/A303, one of the main routes into the West Country, and are ideally located to explore Devon, Dorset and Somerset and have the Jurassic Coast on our doorstep. Open all year including Christmas, New Year and Easter. We can accept up to two dogs by prior arrangement. We have two other cottages (sleeping 2 and 5, as well as an open plan apartment for one couple) and full details are given on our website.
