This stone and oak-framed barn conversion is located in Powys in the middle of Wales, just one mile from the hamlet of Dolau. Sleeping up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms, the cottage will suit a large family best but is also the ideal place for a group of friends to stay if they are looking to explore the beautiful Welsh countryside.
With one king-size double room, a double room and a family room, there is plenty of flexibility in the cottage regarding where people can sleep. The main bedroom has its own sitting area and a balcony where guests can wake up to views of the nearby valley. Original features in the lounge such as the beamed ceilings and a wood burner help to retain the cottages charm while the large farmhouse kitchen diner with bespoke furniture gives the barn conversion a homely feeling.
Llandrindod Wells is the cottage's nearest town and is home to a number of local shops and traditional pubs. You can also go walking through the town's Lake Park and Temple Gardens but the Brecon Beacons National Park is the place to go if you want to hike and enjoy some unforgettable views. Although it is a bit of a drive away, the cottage provides a fantastic base to discover this stunning National Park.
