Are you planning to visit the west coast of Scotland on holiday? You may be interested in renting Glen Euchar House, a four bedroom holiday home with a hot tub in the hamlet of Kilninver, near Oban.
Glen Euchar House takes its name from the Euchar River which flows past on its ways to Loch Linnhe opposite the Isle of Mull.
This elegant five star holiday home, stands in its own large garden, surrounded by lovely rural views. Guests would enjoy sitting in the garden or having a barbecue with the sound of tricking water from the river at one end of the lawns. There is also a duck pond which is lovely to look at although extra care needs to be taken with young children. A hot tub in the garden gives adults a chance for a leisurely soak and massage with good views outdoors.
Experienced guests may wish to borrow kayaks and explore the river. There are also bicycles if desired., the country lanes are peaceful, with little traffic.
Each room of this country cottage is beautifully furnished and pleasing to the eye. The long sitting room has ample seating arranged around the widescreen TV with Sky. A log burner adds extra warmth and a cosy glow when used.
A beautiful spacious oak kitchen has a smart black Aga for cooking, another source of warmth in the kitchen that people like to gather around and chat. The dining area at the other end of the room has a large table for family meals and an impressive wine rack across the far wall that guests could add their favourite wines to.
Upstairs are super-king and king-size beds upstairs, both with ample storage. There is a single bedroom upstairs and another on the ground floor. The main bathroom has a free standing roll top bath and a separate shower. An additional shower on the ground floor eases the morning rush.
Glen Euchar house offers a luxurious base for a holiday in west coast Scotland. Oban is sixteen minutes drive away and ferries to the islands. The town is described as the Scottish sea food centre and indeed there are good fish restaurants in addition to the freshest fish and chips around. There are otters to meet and nature trail at the Sealife Sanctuary, castles and distilleries. The west-coast scenery speaks volumes and holds every promise if an unforgettable holiday for all ages.
