Eastern Europe is a fabulous destination for a walking holiday. It's relatively cheap, the scenery is fantastic and natural. There are still plenty of butterflies darting away as you walk through a meadow and birds to spot. Storks are a common sight in spring and early summer nesting on top of telegraph poles.
The land is generally unfenced and open allowing you to walk where you wish, you can wander over the next hill to see what's there, or to take a photograph from a better position.
The architecture and people that you come across will be different and thus more interesting than the familiarity of home.
Depending on where you go, the landscapes can be flat or hilly - the choice is yours. Take a look at the houses we have available to rent for walking groups and you decide.
