Book a pine lodge holiday on the Norfolk coast

We are fortunate in Britain in having such incredibly beautiful countryside and even the weather has improved in recent years to make out coastal areas attractive places to go for a seaside holiday.  The Norfolk coast is remarkably unspoilt, has many broad sandy beaches and plenty of nature reserves and small harbour villages where people can go and enjoy seafood.

Good reasons to book a pine lodge break in Norfolk

Wooden holiday homes such as pine lodges and log cabins are delightful to stay in. The most recent builds display incredible design and everything that holidaymakers look for in self-catering accommodation is included. There are built in wardrobes that would accommodate the clothing brought by people who regularly overpack. Admittedly, we tend to pack for most weather conditions when we holiday in Britain, but even so, it is good to know that the properties are spacious.

Log cabins are so good to stay in

The much overused term ‘cosy’ is often applied to log cabin holidays and yes, they are warm and insulated from the elements. The presence of a log burner does add a degree of extra warmth to people and the ambience. It all contributes to the ‘feel good’ factor that people experience when staying in a timber lodge.

    Surrounded by wood

It can be strange at first to be surrounded by so much wood. The walls, floors and sometimes ceilings of a wooden holiday home can take a little getting accustomed to, but most people love it.  Some lodges have a traditional white ceiling and tiled floors in wet areas such as kitchens and bathrooms, but irrespective of the décor, all have the usual facilities of a nicely equipped kitchen and proper functioning bathrooms and showers.

    Pine lodge holiday parks

Pine lodge holidays on the whole are based in small holiday parks that incorporate either a fishing lake, a decorative lake, a golf course, or a central swimming pool leisure area. There could be cycle paths through the grounds or nature trails.  The intention is to provide self-catering holidays with an activity such as golf, fishing or cycling. A busy family on holiday is mostly a contented family.

Come for a nature break on the Norfolk coast

One thing that north Norfolk has in abundance is natural wilderness for nature walks. It is an excellent place to visit for a birdwatching holiday because of the varied habitats. Then there are days on the beaches to enjoy, tea shops to visit and lots of other activities that the Norfolk coast provides.
