Children who do not normally sleep in bunk beds often find the prospect of an Irish holiday home with bunk beds quite exciting. There would be all the usual arguments over who is to sleep in the top bunk, but it is all part of holiday banter.
Adults may not be quite as enthralled at the prospect of sleeping in bunks, even if they are described as adult-sized because the length is limited by a foot and head rest. At least in a divan bed, tall holidaymakers have a chance to fully extend and be comfortable.
Something to consider when renting a cottage with a bunk bedroom is that a bunk room is often smaller than other bedrooms and there may not be space to store suitcases unless they fit under the bottom bunk. It is advisable to check where cases can be put away.
All holiday homes in Ireland on this page have a bedroom with bunk beds.
