There is a vibrant atmosphere in the centre, and it is surrounded by stunning countryside which is perfect to explore on country walks and cycles. There are also several places to eat and drink here.
If you wish to head to the beach for the day from Worthing, then the northern coast is about 45 minutes away by car. The busy resorts of Cromer and Sheringham with their sandy beaches are a must-see if travelling with children, but there are also quieter areas to explore such as West Runton and Overstrand. These are excellent to visit for a hassle-free experience, and you might even get the beach to yourself for some of the day!
Worthing is quiet and home to lots of self-catering accommodation available to rent.
