Come and find a holiday letting to rent that isn’t too far from Sandbanks Beach, along the coast from Bournemouth, in Dorset. The long sweep of sand on the Dorset coast extends west to Poole Harbour and the chain ferry terminal. It’s a very family-friendly place with a playpark for children, a seaside café and even a Rick Stein Restaurant. It is possible to walk with your dog around the various inlets that make up Poole Harbour and watch the coastal goings on. Dogs are permitted all year round on the western end of the beach, up to Poole Point. You can however, walk your dog on a lead along the promenade and the Blue Flag section of beach.A good recommendation is that the rich and famous own holiday homes along this stretch of beach. You may not be able to aspire to staying in a luxury property but the beach is public, allowing anyone to stand and stare.
The seaside has a calming effect on people when the sun shines. They seem to want to relax in a deckchair with an occasional paddle.
It can be almost as nice to sit and sunbathe in the garden of your holiday home with your pooch by your side. You will probably need to if you have been out and about along the coast all day. There really is such a lot to see and do, especially if you take part on watersports. Alternatively, sit and watch windsurfers battle the waves and enjoy the spectacle of bright kites in the sky.
