Lympne in east Kent is an attractive village to stay in for a holiday. It has that style typical of Kent villages of houses with long front gardens, mostly edged by a stone wall. Properties and gardens are nicely maintained and one of the joys of a walk around the village in spring until autumn is to appreciate the traditionally English gardens with their lawns, shrubberies and perennials.
Any holiday rentals in a certain radius of Lympne are displayed. It is an attractive place to stay if you would like a few days exploring Kent. The village has a few shops and eateries plus a weekly car boot sale where visitors could find a bargain or two. Surrounding the village are the glorious Kent Downs.
Book a cottage or bungalow in Lympne – there are quite a few down its leafy streets. All of the accommodation is booked on a self-catered basis which leaves everyone free to do as they wish. Staying in a holiday rental has all the advantages of having a complete house to yourself and even better if it has a garden where you can sit out in good weather, the children can play or the family could enjoy a barbecue or lunch.
Holidays are so much more relaxed if you do not have to dress for dinner or keep children quiet in case they annoy other guests. Everyone can choose what they watch on the TV, play music at any volume that can be agreed with the family, eat midnight snacks and drink wine that you have not had to pay corkage for. Self-catered breaks are brilliant.
The Kent coast is just three miles away with the possibility of visiting a string of seaside towns such as Hythe, Sandgate, Folkestone or Dymchurch and St Mary’s Bay.
