Come for a cottage holiday in Bruton, Somerset. This small village is a good place to stay, it has quite a few amenities and would make self-catering a pleasure.  It is always useful to have a few essential shops such as good bakery and most holidaymakers would need begrudge fetching warm fresh bread and buns back to their holiday home for breakfast. We have time to spend on the little pleasurable things when on holiday.

Find a cottage, house or barn conversion in and around Bruton where you could enjoy a Somerset break. All of the holiday accommodation is fully prepared for a stay, made-up beds with fresh linen, a living room with a TV, bathrooms and that all essential kitchen where you can cook for yourself if you wish. The facilities at each property vary with rental price. Pay more and you may have a coffee maker and American style refrigerator in the kitchen of your holiday home.

The village of Bruton lies between Shepton Mallet and Wincanton. It’s an interesting village on the River Brue that has ancient stepping stones across the water. The particularly narrow one-way high street is lined with a mix of modern and ancient buildings, many of which are built of stone and date back centuries. There is much to see in this part of Somerset; Glastonbury is 15 miles away, there are two beautiful rural areas of Cranbourne Chase and the Mendip Hills a short drive away and various tourist attractions.

Bruton would be a very good place to stay for anyone who prefers a village to a rural area and is yet close to the countryside.
