Find self-catering accommodation near the Clee Hills in the west of England in Shropshire. Brown Clee Hill is the highest of the Shropshire hills at about 1,800 feet, near the medieval trade route across the hills and into south east England. The hill-top contains much volcanic rock called dolerite. Coal and ironstone were once mined here. The Brown Clee Forest Trail runs through mixed woodland providing good views of the countryside.
