Blackwater is a village in the centre of the Isle of Wight, it is only 3 kilometres from Newport and also very close to Carisbrooke Castle. It has very good access to many sigificant villages on the island through its railway and is a popular place to stay because of its proximity to Newport, the Islands county town.
