Walberton is a small village roughly 2.5 miles west of Arundel and approximately 5 miles north west of Littlehampton. The village has a pub, The Holly tree, recorded from 1845 and called by its present name since 1867. The village church, St Mary's, has a Saxon font and west wall. At one end of the village there is a small village pond popular with families out to feed the ducks. There are a small number of shops and a post office for your self catering essentials next to the modern village hall. Walberton is an excellent base for a self catering cottage holiday touring the area and is particularly well placed for day trips to Arundel with its palatial castle and is also within easy reach of the West Sussex coast and the South Downs.
