Lurgashall is a prosperous and attractive village which can be a little hard to find at times if you don’t know your way around. The village green is particularly lovely. Located right underneath Blackdown, which is the highest place in West Sussex and which has connections with the great poet Tennyson. There are some very small, very winding roads round about. One of the best reasons to visit Lurgashall is Lurgashall Winery which has a good shop with plenty of unusual and delicious food and wine. St Laurence's Church has an unusual loggia which was built in the 16th century, and a Millennium stained glass window which depicts scenes of village life past and present.
Whether you are planning a relaxing self-catering break or a fun packed getaway, have a fantastic time in or near to Lurgashall in the South Downs National Park.
