Dun na Ron is a small two-bedroom stone-built country cottage in a tranquil setting just outside the small town of Oughterard. The single-storey accommodation is traditionally furnished; homely, centrally heated and comfortable.

The compact living room has a solid-fuel stove standing in front of a feature stone wall and exposed wooden beams adding to that rustic air. Easy chairs stand around the chairs and there is a piano in the corner should you wish to bash out a tune.

A dining table stands hard up against a wall with views of the garden through the window. This table can seat three people and there is another small table for two in the kitchen. Cooking facilities are basic but sufficient for simple living on holiday. The free standing cooker is electric plus there is a microwave for heating and defrosting and a refrigerator.

A utility area houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.

A starter pack of fuel for the stove in the living room is provided and this can be supplemented at an additional cost although should not be necessary because the cottage has central heating, however, some holidaymakers enjoy the warm glow of a fire when the sun goes down.

There is one family bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, and one single bedroom. A highchair and cot are available for any family that has a small child.

The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower.

Outside is the garden with barbecue on the patio, seating and picnic equipment. Ample parking is available.
