Alfred’s barn is the perfect location for your next holiday retreat, where you can enjoy the spacious conversion and its stylish design with friends and family. Enjoy all the onsite facilities, from the barbeque for a beautiful summer night to the games room, which you can enjoy with family and friends as you gather around a pool table. On colder days, snuggle up in front of the open gas fire. For a day out, there is plenty to choose from, from the quaint market town of Halesworth where you can explore plenty of unique shops to seaside towns. If you like a coastal view, why not visit Southwold’s pebbled beach, and walk past the brightly painted beach houses? Or travel to Dunwich and it’s classic chippy or Walberswick with its sandy dunes. There’s even Minsmere RSPB reserve not far, the perfect spot for a memorable day out!
Inside this conversion, the interior has been stylishly arranged to reflect both the authentic history of the property and a modern twist, making it a truly stunning property to enjoy. It’s perfect for large gatherings, sleeping eight people across four lovely bedrooms as well as having a large dining area that can seat up to 27 people. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare all he homecooked meals you can imagine, perfect to serve up for your family! The cosy seating area and TV room is another perfect addition to this property. The four bedrooms on the top two floors are perfect for a sweet night’s sleep, with two bedrooms having an ensuite so you can wake up and refresh yourself in the cooling shower water. Two bedrooms also consist of double beds, while the second two have twin beds that can conveniently be turned into doubles on request. Recommended Attractions near Halesworth: Grove Farm is 3.5 miles from the attractive Suffolk market town of Halesworth with its large Co-Op supermarket and good selection of shops. Bramfield Village (1 mile) also has its own locally renowned butcher 'K Clark' with a deli counter, groceries. Also in Bramfield is the Queen's Head Pub and Restaurant, a lovely place to eat or enjoy a drink. Other places recommended for visits include: Southwold with its sand and pebble beach with the famous beach huts and newly rebuilt pier - it's a lovely old town, well worth a visit just to walk along the sea front. Walberswick where our favourite short walk is across a rabbit mown field and sand dunes to a lovely sandy beach. Kids can have fun catching crabs on the bridge by the car park using a weighted piece of string baited with bacon. Dunwich has a pebble beach and is less busy than others. There is a beach-side fish and chip shop for a quick tasty meal, open in the summer until 5pm..
