The property is a converted Victorian powerhouse located in Skinningrove, just 800 yards from the sandy beach. Restored to a very high standard, the house boasts a magnificent entrance hall with a central ash staircase leading to a galleried landing adorned with a leaded glass dome. The accommodation is light and airy, featuring a sitting room with a Victorian cast iron fireplace, arched windows offering sea views, and a large kitchen with a glorious Yorkshire range as the focal point, as well as a dining table that includes a slate bed snooker table.The Power House offers two sitting rooms, both equipped with TVs, with one of them having a double sofa bed and ramped access, making the property potentially suitable for accompanied disabled guests. There are six bedrooms, two of which feature four-poster beds, while two others have en-suite bathrooms, providing both luxury and flexibility in sleeping arrangements. One of the bedrooms is family-sized and sleeps four, with two single beds on a mezzanine floor offering sea views through a porthole. Additionally, there are three more bathrooms, one of which includes a beautiful roll-top slipper bath.The location of the property is ideal for exploring the surroundings, as it is close to the historic town of Whitby, as well as the coastal villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay.
