This delightful thatched cottage is full of charm and character and dates back to the 16th century. The cottage has both a front and rear garden, and enjoys a tranquil setting in Emery Down with direct access to the forest, and scenic views of Swan Green, where ponies and deer roam freely. This is a great starting point for numerous forest walks, in a peaceful spot, with a charming country pub just a walk across the road, and Lyndhurst, with its choice of shops and eateries just 5 minutes’ walk away. The stunning scenery of the New Forest National Park is found all around.

Inside, the cottage features a beautifully beamed and spacious double living room with an inglenook fireplace, along with a dining area complete with an oak table. Original beams add charm throughout.

On the ground floor, you'll find the inviting living/dining area with the fireplace, a kitchen, and a scullery and TV room with double sofa bed. There is also a family bathroom with bath (shower over), basin and WC, and a generous shower room with a shower, basin, WC and bidet.

The upper floor is accessed via two staircases, leading to three comfortably sized bedrooms with unique sloping roofs: two doubles and one twin.
