Unique 3 bedroom detached pet-friendly holiday house in beautiful grounds, close to Matlock and the Peak District.

This spacious property is set in a small hamlet and is decorated in 1930's style. The property features a homely atmosphere and marvellous gardens. This could be a lovely base for adventures into the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales for a group/family of 6 and their 1 well-behaved pet.

A choice of two comfy sitting rooms, both with TVs, avoids squabbles over what to watch.

Rustle up tasty dishes in the kitchen using the gas hob, electric oven and microwave. A small seating area is perfect for breakfast for early birds. A large fridge/freezer, is alongside a washing machine in the utility cum conservatory.

A separate dining room, with lovely views of the garden, allows the whole group to enjoy extended evening meals together.

There is a ground floor cloakroom.

Dream sweet dreams in the cosy, but spacious bedrooms on the 1st floor.

The bedrooms comprise of:

• A bedroom with a king-size bed,

• A double bedroom and

• A twin bedroom.

All share the shower room that has a double walk-in shower unit with electric shower.

The summer house is ideal for afternoon tea, BBQs and sheltering from glaring sunlight.

There is lots to see in the surrounding area. In nearby Butterley, young and old will love The West Shed, Princess Royal Class locomotive Trust Museum. Afterwards head over to the Golden Valley Light Railway for a locomotive ride through the country park.

To enjoy stunning views, ride the cable car to the top of the hillside in Matlock's Heights of Abraham country park. Also two great caverns. For children 2-13 there is Gulliver’s Kingdom theme park also in Matlock.

Sorry, no smoking. Lots of parking space available. Take care on stone steps in front garden. No children under 5 due to the style of bannisters in the house. Good Housekeeping bond of £350 applies.
